Earl goes once a week for acupuncture to help relieve pain. The needles are so fine that he cannot feel them at all at any time. Not shown at the needles that are in both knees and on the outside edge of his right ear. I spared his dignity and didn't photograph his earlier session when needles were inserted into his derriere, grins.
I'm laughing at the last sentence. :O)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend, Katy!
haha that's too funny! I used to get accupuncture all the time in University to relieve my athletic injuries. Not sure if it worked quite as well as the Tylenol 3s. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteOh you are so funny. Egads....see...I hate needles so am a bit squeamish about this acupuncture stuff. I think you reinforced it for me...its a 'no go' in that field for this gal I am afraid.
ReplyDelete:-)
ReplyDeleteDoes the treatment help?
Is it for arthritis? I've heard it works. X.
ReplyDeleteWell, in Earl's case, the acupuncture was for chronic back pain. The idea is to release blocked energy, so the needles were originally placed in the lumbar region and are gradually moving southward. The results of the first session he had really great relief, then he went out and snow-blowed the driveway, sigh. The other sessions, while providing some relief have not given the same great result, to be expected I suppose. He's going to continue the sessions for a while.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking!
Katy...how is everyone there...needles et al?
