April 24, 2010 - Lone Flowering Tree in a Sunny Dale

When I look out my kitchen window to the field across the street, I can see sunlight shine upon a lone white flowering tree.

  2. Isn`t it amazing how amongst the trees and field this simple thing of beauty grows.Probably never noticed by many. How grand it is when we slow down and take the time to notice all the simple but beautiful things in life that we have been given. Very lovely pic.

  3. Lisa, I'm not sure what it is. I assumed it was an apple tree but you could just as easily convince me that it's dogwood, smiles. I can't get close enough to see the blossoms, and even though our neighbors live directly across the street, we pretend not to know that the other exists. Such are ways of New Englanders, I am afraid.

  4. Dakota, I am so delighted you left a comment! How beautifully you write.

It was mas Earl, my Ole Sweetie-Pi, who first saw the tree. It is so beautiful in the corner of the field, and when the sun hits it just right, it seems to be the only lighted object in there. Kind of symbolic, if one is into that sort of thing, and I am...

Thank you for stopping by! I so enjoyed having you here meeting you.

  5. Nice picture. Sometimes we miss these sights in our hurry. If we could only pause and capture nature's beauty as you have.
