January 20, 2010

I had to go into the office this morning to attend a mandatory meeting.  Because I'm skittish about driving on snow and ice-covered roads, my Ole Sweetie-Pi took me in.  Shortly after we entered Interstate 91N in Vermont, traffic was at a standstill, and we sat in bumper to bumper traffic for over an hour, without moving an inch.  There were multiple vehicles off the road on both sides of the interstate.

Hobias and Buster Crabbe are taking a sympathy nap to calm their nerves because we were so stressed by the day's driving.

  1. Looks like you still have snow up there. Ours just melted. Now we have heavy fog and the once frozen ground is turning to mush. X.

  2. As treacherous as I know it was, it was certainly beautiful, too. Of course I didn't have to sit in it like you guys did. :)
Love the picture of Buster Crabbe & Hobias -- they look so incredibly huggable, kissable, squeezable!

  4. Yikes! That traffic holdup is enough to cramp anyone's time! Glad you were not in that snow and ice alone.

I can see your kitties were very...very concerned.
    LOL

If we ever need to be humbled...just love a cat.
